MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER PRESIDENT

Welcome to ARTS

Welcome to the official website of the Arrhythmia Research & Training Society (ARTS).

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to this platform, which reflects our commitment to advancing education, research, training, and public awareness in cardiac rhythm disorders.

Heart rhythm disorders, heart failure, and sudden cardiac death represent an increasing public health challenge in India. While remarkable advances have been made in diagnosis and treatment, there remains a significant need for indigenous research, structured training, and greater public awareness. ARTS was founded in 2015 to address these unmet needs and to create a vibrant academic forum dedicated to excellence in heart rhythm care.

Since its inception, ARTS has been guided by a simple vision—to improve patient care through education, collaborative research, professional training, and community outreach. Our Society brings together cardiologists, electrophysiologists, physicians, technologists, researchers, and students committed to advancing the science and practice of cardiac electrophysiology.

Our Mission

"To improve heart rhythm care through education, innovation, research and service."

Our Activities

Arrhythmia Symposia

Our flagship annual scientific meetings bring together leading national and international experts to discuss contemporary concepts, evolving technologies, and evidence-based management of cardiac arrhythmias. These meetings provide an outstanding academic platform for cardiologists, physicians, fellows, and allied healthcare professionals.

Arrhythmia Pearls

These focused ECG teaching programs are conducted in smaller towns to strengthen the knowledge and interpretative skills of physicians, postgraduate trainees, and medical students, ensuring that quality education reaches beyond major academic centres.

CPR Training Programmes

Every life saved from sudden cardiac arrest begins with an effective first responder. ARTS conducts regular hands-on CPR training programmes for healthcare professionals and the general public, promoting widespread awareness and improving community preparedness for cardiac emergencies.

Technologist Training

Recognising the pivotal role of cardiovascular technologists in patient care, ARTS conducts structured training programmes in cardiac device management, pacemaker programming, electrophysiology procedures, and contemporary rhythm management technologies.

Collaborative Research

ARTS actively promotes single-centre and multicentre research aimed at addressing clinically relevant problems in cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, and sudden cardiac death. Our objective is to generate high-quality evidence relevant to Indian patients and contribute to cost-effective, evidence-based healthcare.

As Founder President, I sincerely thank all our members, faculty, collaborators, and supporters whose dedication has shaped the growth of ARTS. I invite you to explore our website, participate in our academic activities, collaborate in research, and join us in our mission to improve heart rhythm care through education, innovation, and service.
Together, we can build a future where knowledge transforms practice, research drives innovation, and timely intervention saves lives.
